Norma Beanie Kit
Description
My Favourite Things' "Norma Beanie" is a cozy double layered hat with a deep folded brim and a colorwork stripe motif - you may recognize it from the ever popular "Norma Sweater." Three strands of Isager yarn (one strand of Isager Spinni, a single ply wool, and two strands of Isager Soft Fine, a fuzzy alpaca, yak, and silk blend), are knit together for a fluffy, chunky fabric. You'll need just a few grams of yarn in the contrast colors, so we've wound up little bobbins for you. That way you don't have to buy full skeins!
Julia knit a "Norma Beanie" for our shop with Isager Spinni and Soft Fine in burgundy and beige, spiked with chartreuse. Choose from kits in the original My Favourite Things colorway and our own HYS colorway.
Kit includes:
- Color A:
- 1 50g skein of Isager Spinni held together with
- 3 25g balls of Isager Soft Fine
- Color B:
- 1 3g bobbin of Isager Spinni held together with
- 3g Isager Soft Fine, divided into 2 bobbins
- Color C:
- 1 5g bobbin of Isager Spinni held together with
- 5g Isager Soft Fine, divided into 2 bobbins
- Organza project bag

One size: fits head circumference of 22-23.5 inches
Recommended needles: 16" circular and double pointed needles in US 10 (6mm), or 32" if magic loop technique is preferred.
