Refund policy

Return Policy –

We are happy to exchange yarn for store credit for yarn that has not been purchased at a discount, that has not been wound or used, and which has been kept in a clean and odor free environment.

There are no exchanges or returns on books, patterns or sale items.

For purchases made online:

Please email us at: anne@hillsboroughyarn.com referencing your order number and what you wish to return.  We will review and get back with you with information on shipping, and how your credit will be applied.  Once we receive the items for exchange for store credit, we will send you an electronic code that can be applied to your next purchase.  Return shipping is paid for by the purchaser, not HYS.

Discount codes cannot be redeemed retroactively for online orders. If you have a discount code you would like to use, you must enter it at checkout during the order process. We are unable to apply discounts after the order has been placed. Birthday club discounts are applicable in-store only at this time.

Class Policy –

Refunds or store credits for pre-paid class registrations can be made only if we are notified at least two weeks in advance of the beginning of class.

Missed classes will not be made up unless the instructor was unable to teach or the shop was closed for inclement weather.

Refunds or store credits for missed classes cannot be made.
