Fleece Artist & Handmaiden are sister brands, dyeing yarns entirely by hand in tiny batches – just enough for a single sweater at a time – in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Hand Maiden is especially known for silk blends, while Fleece Artist is dedicated to breed specific fibers such as bluefaced leicester, fine kid mohair, merino and other fuzzy beasts. We feel lucky to be one of the few Fleece Artist / Handmaiden stockists in the US!
