Shipping discounts and policies
*Orders that exceed $200 after any applicable discounts will ship free. Free shipping discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
Orders placed during our Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 23 - Dec. 2, 2024) will be processed for local pickup or shipping on Dec. 3, when we're back in the shop.
SHIPPING RATES:
USPS Standard shipping (3-4 business days):
Small packages (<1lb) - $8
Large packages (1lb-5lbs) - $15
USPS Priority (1-3 business days):
Rate calculated at checkout.
USPS Express (1-2 business days):
All packages - $20
All shipping options include tracking, which will be provided after checkout. All orders will be shipped within 72 hours.
We take great care to pack orders securely and see that they are delivered promptly, but once the package leaves our shop, we cannot be held responsible for them. Please ensure you have the correct address when shipping an order.
Return Policy
We are happy to exchange yarn for store credit for yarn that has not been purchased at a discount, that has not been wound or used, and which has been kept in a clean and odor free environment.
There are no exchanges or returns on books, patterns or sale items.
For purchases made online:
Please email us at: anne@hillsboroughyarn.com referencing your order number and what you wish to return. We will review and get back with you with information on shipping, and how your credit will be applied. Once we receive the items for exchange for store credit, we will send you an electronic code that can be applied to your next purchase. Return shipping is paid for by the purchaser, not HYS.
