Astrid Troland's “Isla Shawl” is a sweet little kerchief, a lightweight triangular scarf in three colors. The slip stitch colorwork pattern is soothing and repetitive, so much fun that we've seen knitters make two or more!
Bailey knit one for our shop using Biches & Bûches Le Petit Lambswool in a subtle, low-contrast color combination that has caught many an eye here at the Hillsborough Yarn Shop. We've packed them up into kits so you can easily make one (or more) of your own.
Kit includes:
- 3 50g balls of Biches & Bûches Le Petit Lambswool
- organza project bag
The pattern is sold separately on Ravelry or on the Biches & Bûches website.
For one shawl, you will need approximately 30g, 20g, and 10g — which means you can knit at least two small shawls by alternating your colors! Julia's little doodles are shown here, giving you a sense of the possibilities for each of our colorways.
